Verse 1.
crank wooden handles /
steam bursts, turning brass gears /
the airship rises /
legs quake, I hear my heartbeat/
mouth dry, stunning morning view
Verse 2.
bosun's Whistle, sharp /
rough voice shouts, "Captain on deck" /
leather long coat, sway /
I feel her aura, pushing /
she -Electromagnetic
Verse 3.
she lifts her spyglass/
to her unlensed eye, scanning /
regarding her officer /
what could she be looking for /
we have just left the tower
Verse 4.
she turns on me hard /
Robotic eye focusing /
lowering her glass /
I wait for her words to land /
Preparing to take damage
Verse 5.
her: what do they know? /
me: about you, this, and him. /
do they know it's now? /
understanding the concern /
distracted I look past her
Verse 6.
the leather coat swayed
the world bounced, the waves hit
smoke-filled acrid air
deafened by the battery
